Title:                IoT Business Development Manager

Reports to:      CEO/President

Travel:             40% Domestic / Local

Position Purpose Statement/Objective

The IoT Business Development Manager contributes to the overall success of the organization by leading market development in the ‘Measurements to Mind’ solutions portfolio and maximizes return on investment by building and nurturing long-term relationships between our preferred cellular carriers and consulting engineers, government agencies, agriculture/mining, and industry professionals involved with remote data acquisition technologies.

Strategic

  • At all times adheres to, promotes, and affirms the company culture, vision, mission, and core values
  • Represent Stevens as an industry expert by developing distributor and customer relationships to grow market share
  • Enhance Stevens’ image related to remote monitoring communications segment

Operational

  • Execute and expand on the communications product distribution strategy
  • Define and implement successful sales plans
  • Report quarterly and monthly market development results
  • Achieve and exceed revenue growth targets and exceptional customer satisfaction within communications product line
  • Provide expert-level support and training to distributor teams on all ‘Measurements to Mind’ product lines
  • Develop and perform compelling presentations for potential distribution partners
  • Customize and prepare collateral, presentation materials, and white papers as needed

Qualifications

  • Education
    • Degree not required but Business, Marketing, Electronics education may be beneficial
  • Skills
    • Strong oral and written communication and public speaking/presentation skills
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite, CRM applications, PowerPoint

    • Proven track record in achieving sales and business objectives
