DirectLink Receiver/Demodulator

PART #: Directlink

DirectLink Receiver/Demodulator Description

Signal Engineering's DirectLink Receiver Demodulator is designed to process signals at all three GOES DCS baud rates 100, 300 and 1200 bits per second. Multiple channels are processed simultaneously including the Pilot tone which is used as a reference in determining the uplink EIRP of each DCP transmission and the DCPs operating frequency accuracy.

Key Features:

  • Supports NESDIS HDR 100, 300 and 1200 BPS transmissions from any NESDIS certified transmitter
  • Each channel’s data rate is independently assigned by the user
  • Channels can be reassigned in a dynamic frequency hopping manner
  • Automatic Dual Pilot Tone Tracking
  • Backup Pilot Tone serves as reference if Primary Pilot goes down
  • Automatic Signal Gain Control
  • Inherent redundancy in Multiple Receiver systems
  • Data output via an RS-232 interface or a TCP/IP (Ethernet) interface. Data and Alerts on TCP/IP interface in accordance with DAMSNT specification
  • Enhanced quality monitoring for all received messages
  • Embedded DSP operating system which is free of regular OS updates
  • Available in Desk top (7” x 9” x 2.5”) or 19-inch rack (2xRU) mountable configurations
