Met One Ultra Sonic Wind Speed and Direction Sensor Description

The Met One Ultrasonic Wind Direction & Speed sensor is highly accurate with no moving parts, which eliminates required maintenance common to mechanical sensors. This 16-point wind tunnel calibrating sensor provides digital and analog outputs. Available with heated option.

Wind Speed:

  • Range: 0 - 50 m/sec
  • Accuracy: ±0.15 m/sec < 5 m/sec or ±2 % > 5 m/sec
  • Resolution: 0.1 m/sec

Wind Direction:

  • Range: 0 - 360°
  • Accuracy: ±3°
  • Resolution: 1°
