The Stevens V4TH and V2TH Satellite Antenna provides a cost effective, high performance geostationary satellite data telemetry link for hydrological and meteorological data transmissions. The helix design virtually eliminates all existing problems that occur with other available antenna technology.
The V4TH and V2TH Antennas have a 10 dB gain and 5.5 dB gain, respectively. These antennas are designed to operate through the destructive forces of severe weather.
The V4TH and V2TH Antennas utilize the same mounting hardware, which can be suspended or mounted inside nonmetallic protective structures, or mounted outside on a building, post or tower.
The V2TH is being used with existing high data rate transmitters. For satellite transmitters requiring higher dB gain, see Stevens V4TH Satellite Antenna.
For quick and accurate position of the V2TH and V4TH antenna, or any geostationary transmission antenna, use the Magnetic Polycast Protractor with the information providing by inputting the antenna site's longitutude and latitude location into the Antenna Positioning Tool on-line program.
