GHT Data Logger Compatibility List

The Stevens GOES High Data Rate Transmitter is compatible with the following data loggers:

Stevens AxSys
Interfaces through the serial port of the logger. Set the AxSys in GOES or GOESX mode. AxSys transfers data when triggered by GHT, either all data since last trigger (GOES mode) or all data plus data since previous trigger (GOESX mode). GOESX allows for redundant transmission. Format available is either ASCII or compacted UU encoded data, similar to ORBCOMM packets.

Stevens DOT Logger
Interfaces through the serial port of the logger. Set the DOT to one of the following report format (RF) modes:

Stevens VX1004
Interfaces through the VBUS connector, requires special dongle and cable. Format is Pseudo-Binary. Supports all pre-existing GOES configuration setups for the VX1004, acts as a direct upgrade to 300 baud. Requires new EPROM in VX1004 and removal of existing GOES board.

Stevens VX1100
Interfaces through the VBUS connector, requires a Stevens adapter (different from the VX1004). Supports all existing GOES data formats in VX1100. Requires new EPROM and removal of existing GOES board.

Campbell CR10X
Interfaces through digital IO lines on CR10X front panel (2 required). Direct cable to GHT, no dongle required. Requires reprogramming in CR10X to output data out control lines to GHT.

ZENO 3200
Interfaces to auxiliary COM port on ZENO. Direct cable to GHT. Requires programming ZENO to output data out auxiliary port.

Sutron 8200/8200A
Interface via RS-232 port. Requires a small basic program that can be provided by Stevens.

Sutron 8210
Interface via internal or external RS-232 port. Requires a small basic program that can be provided by Stevens.
