STEVENS' SHARK WIRELESS BLUETOOTH ADAPTER NOW ON GSA
Portland, Ore., November 29th, 2006 – Stevens Water Monitoring Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce new GSA pricing on it's Shark wireless Bluetooth serial adapter.
The Shark adds flexibility to data communication where cables or more expensive radio telemetry options aren’t the best choice. Using The Shark, users can turn any instrument with an RS232 or RS485 serial port into a wireless device. And because it’s Bluetooth, the wireless network is simple to set up and will communicate directly with any Bluetooth enabled PC or PDA- no radio transmission license is required.
Furthermore, the Shark has been applied in other unique applications such as creating a short range wireless link from a data logger to a long-range wireless modem. Potential applications include environmental and weather monitoring, industrial process control, laboratory equipment communication or anywhere flexible wireless data transmission is required.
For more information about The Shark, please visit the Stevens Water website or call toll-free at (800) 452-5272.
