Stevens Names Ben Culver Vice President of Business Development
PORTLAND, Ore., December 11, 2008 – Stevens Water Monitoring Systems is pleased to announce the appointment of Benjamin A. Culver to the position of Vice President of Business Development. Previously Mr. Culver has held executive level positions as Vice President of Business Development for Cipher Systems, Inc. and Vice President of Business Development and Sales for the Aerospace, Defense and Instrumentation division of Radiall Incorporated. Prior to his executive level positions, Mr. Culver has held numerous project management and design engineering positions for Cadence Design Systems, Advantest America and M/A-COM. Mr. Culver has over 18 years of experience in product design, project management, business development and business management. Mr. Culver’s is highly experienced in both the commercial and defense markets. Mr. Culver’s core expertise lies in RF and microwave communications systems, test and measurement equipment and antenna design. Mr. Culver will help expand Stevens reach into the data acquisition, monitoring and control market, with the vision of applying existing and emerging technologies that advance users’ access to data that is more relevant, timely, and easier to analyze. In addition to his extensive business experience, Mr. Culver's educational background includes an MBA from Willamette University and a BSEE from the University of Chicago.
