Robust and highly accurate, Stevens GroPoint Lite provides cost-effective soil moisture and temperature measurements. The sleek, lightweight design installs quickly with minimal soil disruption zone providing the average volumetric soil moisture content over a soil layer of about 8” (21cm) when installed vertically. When installed horizontally, the sensor can be used to measure moisture at a specific soil depth.

GroPoint Lite uses Time Domain Transmissometry (TDT) and patented antenna technology as the basis for measurement. GroPoint Lite can be deployed in irrigation sensitive zones, such as around the root zone, to enable full control of precision irrigation needs. Moisture measurement is used in applications such as turfgrass, high-value agriculture crops to better manage irrigation practices, increase plant and turf quality and reduce fertilizer run-off.
