Stevens provides the following software programs and executable programs for free download:

Hydra Probe soil sensor executable routines
The following are software programs for viewing the Hydra Probe voltage output measurements. Please see the user manual for more detail information on these programs.
"Micro.exe (1.6 MB)" - operational software desinged for use of Stevens' Hydra Reader. This is a DOS-based application that can be run under a Windows environment for downloading collected data from the handheld Hydra Reader to your PC.
The HYD_LOG.EXE (44 KB) is the software program that does the data reduction algorithm on the data in an ASCII file downloaded from the Hydra Logger or Stevens Hand Held Data Reader and converts the information into the complex soil moisture.

Note: version 2.7 now supports the loam calibration setting.
HYD_FILE.EXE is a software program is designed to operate on a PC and allows the input of raw Hydra Probe data, outputting a file consisting of the processed data. This program is primarily designed to allow the user to quickly process large amounts of data from automated data collection systems.
The HYDRA.EXE data reduction software program enables user to manually convert four voltages to complex soil moisture reading. HYDRA.EXE will prompt the user for a soil type and the four measured voltages V1, V2, V3, V4s. The program will then generate the following output, real and imaginary dielectric constant, temperature, temperature corrected real and imaginary dielectric constants, water content, soil salinity, soil conductivity, temperature corrected soil conductivity, and temperature corrected soil water conductivity.
AXREAD is a Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP program for accessing data from Stevens AxSys MPU units or Stevens DOT loggers. It can obtain data through a direct connection to the AxSys MPU or Stevens DOT loggers, from an FC-256 Data Card using a Stevens PCM-2 Card Reader, or an attached serial card drive from an OMNI Drive connected to the parallel or USB port.
DOTSet for PC and PDA
For Stevens DOT Logger with Firmware version N
DOTSet provides a user-friendly configuration interface for the Stevens DOT Logger. DOTSet gives the user full control over every aspect of the DOT Logger, including (but not limited to) individual channel setup, data collection schedules, reporting intervals, and telemetry types. DOTSet can also return the current sensor readings for quick reference.

Changes for DOTSet version 1.54:
- Added support for 10 to 199 SDI-12 channels, which is the only change from version 1.51n. Users need not up upgrade unless support for more than 10 SDI-12 channels is requiered for your application.

Stevens GHTSet provides a user-friendly Windows interface for configuring the Stevens GOES High Data Rate Transmitter (GHT).
