On-Line Data Management Services
Stevens offers two Internet Data Managment services on line:
Both these services collect the data from remote monitoring locations phone modem or other wireless telemetry procedures and permanently stores the data in a data base that can be accessed any time from any computer with Internet access. Advantages to these services include:
- Users need no customized software program.
- Users require no special or dedicated computer hardware and base station reception equipment.
- Users require no special training or knowledge of data management programs or hardware.
- Automatically incorporates a backup data management procedures for the users.
- Data security is enhanced with automatic off site storage.
E-Monitoring Internet Data Management Service
Stevens E-Monitoring Internet Data Management is an on-line data management, collection, and retrieval service. When using this service, a remote station transmits data via telemetry modems to the E-Monitoring data warehouse for permanent storage in their database. The customer may then access, analyze graphically or tabular, view site specific information, or download the data from any computer with Internet access through a secured Internet URL. The data may be downloaded to Excel or in a format for the user to import to other analysis, modeling, forecasting or GLS programs. For an example, see http://owrd.e-monitoring.net.
