Sensors

Analog and SDI-12 sensors are connected to the mini sensor module (pictured, larger version also available). eTracker is sensor-agnostic.

Backup

Data is automatically forwarded to the cloud for processing, logging, and retrieval, but it’s also stored locally for redundancy on a standard SD memory card.

Data management

Intelligent data management, data buffering, and network verification to ensure successful transmission of critical data.

Cellular connection

Collected data is sent automatically to either Stevens-Connect or forwarded to any other destination you specify. Because it’s a 2-way cellular connection, you can send configuration changes back down to eTracker or interact directly with connected SDI-12 sensors.

Avo is a great choice for pre-packaged systems. The reason? Setup is super quick and simple—a battery, multi-sensor interface, power manager, cellular transceiver are all integrated into one unit. Plus, configuration and programming is done on the web, and you don’t need a separate data logger, since all data is logged in the cloud (along with a local redundant backup).

Unprecedented dependability

Ultra-low power consumption: eTracker and Cell-Net run in a 1.6mA power mode when not transmitting or receiving data, yet are still able to respond to incoming calls. This ensures your battery can last through extended periods of non charging.

Remote restart: SOLO allows you to power-cycle your entire station, remotely and on-demand, or on a schedule. This provides the most common remedy for station failures without a costly site visit.

Data protection: eTracker logs ALL data on a standard SD card (up to 4 GB storage).

Data redundancy: Prior data set can be transmitted with current data set to avoid missing critical data transmissions caused by busy cellular communication networks.

Data connection verification: Before transmission, connection to the cellular network and the HTTP/FTP server is verified. Data is saved to the buffer for the next scheduled transmission if after several attempts the connection cannot be verified.

Predict and prevent problems: Station and transmission health and performance data (RSSI, battery voltage, load current, solar voltage, internal temperature, MEID or IMEI number, and more) can be logged and included in every transmission.

Instant problem alerts: Set up notifications for problems that occur or will likely occur without having to monitor status, and ensure data will always flow.

Extreme power efficiency means reduced power system requirements, yet still providing 2-way communications, low cellular data cost and the high data throughput you can’t get with GOES or other satellite telemetry.
